About Jantar Mantar
Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in 1734, Jantar Mantar is the world's largest stone sundial and the most significant of five astronomical observatories he constructed across India. Its 19 geometric instruments can measure time, predict eclipses, and track celestial bodies with extraordinary precision. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2010.
